Mark was born in Springfield, MO and was blessed to live in a very musical family (even the sewing machine was a Singer!). His dad played mandolin, banjo, and dobra. His mom played the piano and sang. He started playing fiddle at 11, and shortly after that began playing in the band his dad was in. When he was 17 he was hired by a Branson show where he met the love of his life, Kathy. After marrying Kathy, a great singer in her own right, Mark played on her Branson show, the Lowe Sisters. They have been blessed with two children, Stephanie and Ryan. Mark has also played with Dottie West, Jerry Reed, Johnny Rodriquez, Loretta Lynn and the last 15 years with Roy Clark.
Mark and his wife also own Branson Craft Mall and are members of Victor Baptist Church.
He loves to spend time with his family on the lake and ride his Harley Davidson with his wife.
